A refreshing change in the forum this year was in the discussions on the Israeli Palestinian peace process.  The main discussion opened with short film prepared by businessman Daniel Lubetzky on a project that brings together young people, mostly in their teens and 20?s, who work together to progress peace in their communities, from the ?bottom up?.  The project is a part of a movement that was established by Lubetzky, OneVoice.
The young people called on their Israeli and Palestinian leaders to act with courage and sign a Peace agreement.  They said that they decided to stop being the silent majority, and to rally around the Peace agreement.  ?We?ll be behind you and support you when make the difficult decisions,? they promised ?we?re the next generation and you owe this to us?
The Palestinian president Abu Mazen and the Israeli Foreign Minister, Tzipi Livni, who participated in the meeting, couldn?t ignore the young voices and committed to work towards Peace in the Middle East.  They?re going to have to show proof next year in Davos.
